Answers to the questions we hear most often in the studio – from booking and cost to pain and healing.
How do I book an appointment?
The easiest way is our request form, but you can also call us or send a WhatsApp message. Briefly describe the design, size and placement – that helps us suggest the right artist and a consultation date faster.
How much does a tattoo cost?
The price mainly depends on size, level of detail, placement and the time involved. We'll give you a firm price after the consultation, once your design is clear.
How old do I have to be to get a tattoo?
Our minimum age for tattoos is 18. Please bring valid original photo ID to your appointment. More on our age policy page.
Does getting a tattoo hurt?
A bit, yes – how much mainly depends on the placement. Areas with thin skin or close to the bone, such as the ribs, feet or wrists, tend to feel more intense than the upper arm or thigh. You can take short breaks at any time.
How long does a tattoo take to heal?
The surface usually heals within two to four weeks, while deeper layers of skin take a little longer. During this time, keep your tattoo clean and moisturised and protect it from sun, pools and saunas. Travelling? Plan beach and pool days before your session rather than after. What happens in a consultation?
You talk through the design, style, size and placement with the artist. They'll tell you what works well technically, roughly how many sessions you'll need and what cost to expect. Feel free to bring reference images.
How should I prepare for my appointment?
Get a good night's sleep, eat beforehand, drink plenty of water and skip alcohol the day before. The skin in that area shouldn't be irritated or sunburnt. If you take medication regularly, check with your doctor first.
Can you cover up an old tattoo?
Often, yes. Whether a cover-up works depends on the size, colour and condition of the old tattoo. Sometimes laser fading beforehand makes sense – we'll tell you honestly in the consultation.
Do you speak English?
Yes. Consultations and tattoo sessions are available in both German and English.
What tattoo inks do you use?
We only use tattoo inks that comply with the EU's REACH chemicals regulation. If you have allergies or very sensitive skin, please let us know before your appointment.
Can I reschedule or cancel my appointment?
Yes – please let us know as early as possible, ideally by phone or WhatsApp. You'll find the exact conditions in our terms.
